Associate Researcher

I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the Catholic University of Brasilia (UCB), a Master’s degree in Ecology from the University of Brasilia (UnB) and a PhD in Animal Biodiversity from the Federal University of Santa Maria-RS (UFSM). I have experience in zoology, with emphasis on taxonomy and systematics of limnic cladocerans (Crustacea). I also have experience in aquatic ecology, working in limnology, community ecology with emphasis on the study of plankton and wetlands invertebrates. I am interested in the study of the ecology, taxonomy and systematics of large limmiological braniopods belonging to the taxa Laevicaudata, Spinicaudata and Cyclestherida (Crustacea), as well as transversal themes as in themes that are transversal to biodiversity, such as evolution and conservation. In addition to my interest in crustaceans and in the Cerrado, I am addicted to sports and in the leisure time, a lover of good craft beers.
